1. The format used for the show is hidden camera. It is only until after the the host comes out do the regular cameras come out and follow the two. They do a sort of confessional thing that they do on Real World where they talk to them separately about how they are feeling at that exact moment. The way they draw the viewers is by having two separate instances in one show in case the first one doesn't appeal to the audience the the second one at least has a chance (or vice verse). They also pick people they know are highly melodramatic and will cause a lot of tension and fighting.
2. Each person was selected for the show because of the same reason listed above. The celebrities are selected because they have a high standing negative image in the media. Either they want to prove that they are not at all the bad people they appear to be or they truly are that bad and simply want to confront anyone bad mouthing them. The "marks" are chosen because they have strong feelings of distaste for these people and also have an attitude that would create major tension causing drama and in the end becoming entertaining.
3. 1) Mel Gibson - Orthodox Hebrew
2) Jenny McCarthy - Mother
3) Ellen DeGeneres - Homophobe
4) Chris Brown - Domestic Violence Victim
5) Michael Vick - PETA Representative
4. Have an app that allows people to view the show, vote on who they would like to see on the show (also giving them a chance to appear), comment, and win prizes.
5. A prize all in itself could be a chance to be on the show. Another way is to promote merchandise so the name can circulate and others will want to watch the show. The ways of keeping it interactive is by doing the above with allowing the audience to vote and comment on the episodes.
6. The show was not advertised well at all. No one in the group even heard of the show until we watched it in class. It turned out to be really entertaining. With a bigger public eye it may not be going off the air.

Presentaion group 3
1. The key points were that reality TV needs a to be geared towards a certain audience and they tend to do better on networks like HBO if the content requires more graphic material.
2. The only concern seemed to be reaching out to the correct audience since most of the shows that were discussed were canceled rather quickly.
3. The needed to find more examples that did work over the one's that did not. And by examples I mean shows that work or don't.
4. I Think We Need a New Name For It. The Meeting of Documentary and Reality TV. Dana and Brianna.

Presentaion group 2
1. The key points were that there is a very fine line between what is reality TV and what can be considered Documentary TV.
2. The concern is really in the key points. How can some one accurately categorize something when they are too close together.
3. I believe they did all the expanding they could. It was almost too much information to hang on to.
4. Performing the real, Documentary Diversions. Jude, Jose, and Mariam.
